Led by Conference Superintendent, Rev. Jay Hanson, the retreat will include eight sessions of teaching, guided conversation, and spiritual exercises designed to lay a foundation for lifelong apprenticeship to Jesus.

What You Need to Know

  • By Invitation Only

    This training is specifically for CLMs, Laity Cabinet Representatives, all South Georgia Conference Leadership (pages 64-69 of the Conference Journal and pages 70-72), and the Presiding Elders. Those who are invited received an invitation.

  • Cost

    Registration: FREE!

    Lodging and Meals: FREE!

    The Conference is covering the lodging and meal cost. See the registration link below for further details.

  • Epworth

    You do NOT need to contact Epworth. The Conference is making a group reservation.

  • Schedule

    2pm Thursday, October 8th through 2pm Friday, October 9th

    Sessions will run Thursday: 2pm - 8:30pm and Friday: 7am - 2:00pm approximately.

    If you are staying offsite, please keep in mind the last session on Thursday evening will start at 7:15 PM. The first session on Friday morning will start at 7:00AM.

  • Registration Deadline

    ASAP, no later than September 30th.
